“Arvak “. Soon it became a group of Municipality, then a State group of “Hayhamerg“ ( Armenian Philharmony) It differed by his concert activity, was often invited to Moskow to take a part in kid’ s TV programs on the Central Television. Every Sunday “Arvak “ had a studio time on State Radio Company. He had recorded many songs and instrumental music for fund of Radio. All the arrangements were done by Armen Divanyan. He is very principled in the choice of music for his group: it will be modern, will have a good and fresh arrangements, song must be melodic and open-hearted for the singer, the folk will be permanent, music, perfomed by children should not be at the average level, because they can be absolutely professional.
In 1996 Armen Divanyan was invited to head the Radio group “Arevik “ because has a long-term experience in working with children. From the first day of his supervising the ensemble has got a new style and character. A new repertoire was created. The old songs were rearranged and represented to the audience. He produced several new albums of folk and pop-modern songs. Due to his hard efforts the annual pan-Armenian TV contest-festival has been organized since 2001 till this year. He celebrated ensemble’ s 20th , 25th anniversaries in 1997 and 2002 with great lusture. It was his idea to have a TV musical program for the children, which started on 1997. In 2001 were liquidated of financial problems all the state musical groups of radio ,but they didn't stop their activity.On Divanyan' s innovation “Arevik “ continued to act as a separate company, keeping in touch with Radio and Television. The group has been giving to the Radio fund it’ s new records every year . Since 2001 it’ s biography is under the “Arevik diez “ LLC, which is directed by him. He opened also a new website for the group: www.arevik.net. Ensemble developed and became more popular, leaves for foreign countries. In 2004 was invited to Lebanon, in 2005June - to the U.S.A, in 2006 the group returned from Bulgaria with International Folk festival prize. In 2005 Armen Divanyan and vocal specialist Arpine Hovhannisyan organized a new group with elders of “Arevik “ - vocal septet , and five months later presented a concert program"7 colors ". Today we have their younger staff: Septetino. Septet and Septetino present mainly multivoiced modern approaches of Armenian folk music. In 2007 the group had solo two concerts in Cyprus, in Nicosia city.
In 2007 on December 8 represented Armenia in JESC for the first time. Armenian flag could be seen both on the stage and in the hall. "Arevik" didn't win the first prize only because of one voting point . After their arrival they were warmly greeted by the president of National Assembly, The Ministry of Culture, Televisions and by the society.
He had created his own, specific stile to work within thirty years . In march 2009 he renamed his group “Arevner”, which means “many suns”. He did so, because there was decided to create a new state radio group of kids with the same name: “Arevik”. The professional specialists, invited by Armen Divanyan are going to work in “Arevner” and keep the quality reached all these years by him.

ARPINE HOVHANNISYAN
Vocal specialist
Soloist, pedagogue, choir-master Arpine Hovhannisyan with her husband Mr. Divanyan has been working with the alumni since the period of “Arvak”, It continued in “Arevik”. Many years during the Tv programs she was teaching the children of Armenia and diaspora to the new child songs( 1982-1987, 1997-2002). She helps even 3-years old children to act already like skillful actors but at the same time advising them to be open-hearted, and free and feel unembarrassed on the stage in order to make the audience believe them. A. Hovhannisyan also helps them to embody the character of the song.She has directed some child videoclips these years. She sang several songs with her pupils. Arpine Hovhannisyan is also the choir-master of vocal multivoiced Septet and Septetino “Arevner”.

Child-youth Ensemble Arevner
“Arevner” s activity: Live concerts and TV performances, different projects with studio playback.Arevner is an active touring group, which leaves for foreign countries several times a year, and has solo-concerts for foreign audience, and also takes part in international contests and festivals. Arevner has several concerts in main concert-halls in Yerevan every year, and also participates in some governmental concerts and ceremonies. Best composers and poets, and music arrangers cooperate with this ensemble.
“Arevner” as an educational system: Each September entrance test is held for the children of the age 4-13, who have good vocal, musical data. Passing the preparatory required course many of them are included in the main concert composition. The maximum age of the alumni is 16. The educational program made and developed by Armen Divanyan includes certain subjects such as private and group vocal lessons, dancing skills, sol-fa, pop and jazz music history taught by teachers who have methodological and pedagogical experience.
2009-2010 activity:
Group celebrated New year of 2009 in Tbilisi with “Basti bubu” and “Bzikebi” child groups realizing large New Year concert program. On 2009 May Arevner was invited to Sweden to take part in “Silverstraken” international music festival where children performed Swedish songs with Stockholm youth chamber orchestra and young musicians arrived from 5 different countries. Arevner represented Armenian sacred choir songs, folk songs and pop large program at St. Clara church and at “Newbrokaen” concert hall of Music Academy.
On 1st June of 2009 Arevner 8-th contest-festival was held. Later notes, CDs and DVDs were published.
On 2-15 of July Arevner was in Tbilisi, where it was preparing concert program called “Armenia- Georgia” with Georgian friends. The participants of Georgia's “Junior Eurovision” national selection were also there. The concert was held on July 12 at Ureki. On 3rd of September Arevner had 2 hour lasting concert at “Moskva” cinema-house’s summer hall as part of “Open Music fest”.
Since 2009 October “Arevner” TV show's new version has been broadcast . It's an entertaining game-competition with new format an in new pavilion. Also “Arevner and stars” project was realized with its New Year and Spring large programs, also in military topic during the same year.
2009 November 29, 2010 February 23 Solo concerts at G. S?undukyan Theatre concert-hall.
2010 May 8, 9- Participation to the concert in honor of Victory.
June 1, 2- Arevner 9-th contest-festival, to which Swedish pianist Karin Hellman and singer Ann-Christin Hallgren were invited.
June 3- Arevner with the guests from Sweden were Armenian Catholicos Ter Ter Garegin B’ s guests, sang for him and got his blessing.
On 16-30 of June- “Arevner” took part in International Folk Festival in Bulgaria for the second time, the first participation was in 2006. Ensemble became a diplomant of the festival and got a diplom, Golden medal and also souvenir Folk statuette of the Festival. The group has already the invitation for Primorsko 2011.
Now the art group is working on the TV program for new television season and also is going to have autamn solo concerts.
